The Isle of Skye is famous for over 400 miles of wild coastal scenery, the spectacular Cuillin mountain range, folklore and fantastic food.


Our 3-day tour offers so much more. The itinerary can include Inverness, the Capital of the highlands with the backdrop of Inverness Castle, wonderful pubs and the river Ness on your doorstep.

Culloden Battle site, Eilean Donan Castle, Glen Coe, Loch Ness and a full day tour around Skye.

This 3-day trip enables you to appreciate the magnificence of Scotland and travel through the landscape and history at a pace that suits you. Private guided tours are designed around you and together, we can build an outstanding itinerary.

Tour Information


Day 1
Our first stop is Dunkeld, a delightful Highland village with a history stretching back to the 8th century. We continue north through the Cairngorms National Park and alongside Loch Laggan before stopping for lunch. Following the Great Glen we stop for photos of Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain. Travelling through spectacular mountain scenery, we stop at Loch Garry for a famous photo opportunity before continuing through stunning Glen Shiel to reach Eilean Donan Castle.

Day 2
Today is spent touring the Isle of Skye. We enjoy a drive along the dramatic Trotternish Ridge with its spectacular cliffs and rock formations. Stops can include Lealt Waterfall, Kilt Rock sea cliffs, the Old Man of Storr rock pinnacle and a walk at the Quiraing mountain pass, Fairy Glen and back to Portree for supper.

Day 3
Glen Sheil and all its dramatic scenery, Loch Ness to go monster hunting and return via the world famous Glencoe. On our return we pass Stirling Castle and The Kelpies.

Pick Up & Duration

Meeting Location: I shall pick you up on the morning of your tour at your hotel, vacation accommodation or a predetermined point.

End Location: I shall drop you off after your tour, at your hotel, vacation accommodation or a place or location you wish.

Duration: 3 days.


Transportation is in a very comfortable MPV (mini van) with A/C and lots of space for both you and your fellow travellers. Water is provided also.
